I believe that humanities deepen human understanding of the human spirit and the ability to reason and predict, broadening one's perspective and fostering the power to view the world.
What does it mean to understand one's position in life, in the context of one's own existence?
It is necessary to contemplate one's own being.
Am I a loser? Or a leader?
Existence always lives within the realm of stimuli and responses.
If I am a loser, I would simply react to the stimuli given by others, failing to achieve further growth.
But if I am a leader, would I only react to the other's stimulus?
If one is a leader, or rather, a leader is someone who engages in profound contemplation regarding their responses to the stimuli from others.
They are mature individuals who think and judge before reacting, and furthermore, they reflect upon themselves.
Because they possess a deep and broad range of predictive thinking, they will serve as a role model for others, and through this, wouldn't they lead a fulfilling life as a leader?
What kind of life do I want to live?
If you aspire to be a leader, you must cultivate the qualities and prestige befitting a leader.
It is essential to study the humanities.
Thus, we can avoid living a life like a camel being led around.
Nietzsche urges us to live the life of a lion.
This is akin to living the life of a leader.
What does it mean to live an autonomous life?
To become an autonomous being, who steers their own life instead of being led around, one must study and prepare more than the average person.
Today, I utilized my abilities within a community.
Sharing what others needed brought me satisfaction and joy, earning me grateful feedback.
I take pride in believing that these small acts of generosity are fostering my growth.
To be able to give more, I need to study. I cannot grow without learning.
I am grateful for the opportunity to share my talents and abilities, and I welcome this thankful morning.
